Painted Background Quilt Gallery
The visual depth in the backgrounds of these quilts is achieved through a fabric-painting technique that I teach.
The composition in the foreground is the result of a raw-edge Broderie-Perse technique that I've developed.
Together, these two methods combine to create a freeform, organic style.
